He has given several solo performances and in one such Tabla performance in London, he was performing in the presence of H.H. Satguru Jagjit Singh, the spiritual head of Namdhari Sikhs. With the blessings of the spiritual head, he learnt to play the Santoor from the famous Indian Santoor expert Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma. He had an opportunity to pursue a great career in medical science but he gave it up for his love of Santoor. He is currently residing in London and has the distinction of performing for HRH Prince Phillip at Buckingham Palace. He has even performed in prominent carnivals like London Mela and Spittalfields festival. He performs at formal concerts as well as party entertainer in private houses, wedding events and in cross-cultural events. He also conducts santoor classes.
