Abanyom
Abanyom is spoken in Nigeria. It is mainly used by the Ekoid family at the cross river state of Nigeria. Their language family being Niger-Congo. This is also a member of Southern Bantoid group, which is nothing but one of the divisions of Bantoid subfamily of Niger Congo division. They are somewhat like the Bantu languages, which is nothing but a group of Niger Congo family members. They are commonly spoken by around some 12,500 people. Some of the alternate names for this language are abanyum, befun, bofon, mbofon. They are of a particular pitch that is tonal and their noun class system is similar to that of the typical Niger Congo system.
